President-Elect Donald Trump has appointed some of the best and brightest brains in the world to be on his Economic Advisory team to "Make America Great again". He appointed multibillionaires and the CEO's of fortune 500 companies such as Boeing, Walmart, JP Morgan Chase amongst others.

Of the over dozen Presidential appointments, Ondo state born Nigerian businessman Bayo Ogunlesi an Oxford and Harvard graduate who is the CEO and Founder of multibillion dollar company Global Infrastructure Partners made the list. The dietary habit of president-elect Donald Trum

A leader’s diet is one of the many things that followers are usually curious about.

And for a health-conscious nation like America, their president-elect’s dietary habit is one of the things that will likely dominate the news as time goes on.

According to official website, health.gov, there’s the need for Americans to align with healthy eating pattern.

The site holds that about three-fourths of the American population have an eating pattern that is low in vegetables, fruits, dairy, and oils.

“Most Americans exceed the recommendations for added sugars, saturated fats, and sodium,” the site contends.

Indeed, California-based literary agent, Suzy Evans, says the eating habits of American presidents seem to mirror the ever-evolving diets of the American people.

This being the case, what is the dietary habit of president-elect Donald Trump?

Insiders say Mr. Trump is an aficionado of not-so-perfect meals such as the Kentucky Fried Chicken, Popeyes chicken, McDonald’s and the taco bowls.

If you care to know, a taco bowl contains 117 calories, seven grams of fat, one gram of saturated fat, two grams of fibre, 12 grams of carbohydrates, one gram of protein, one microgram of folate,16mg sodium (salt), 45mg potassium, etc.

A historian and professor of food studies at New York University, Amy Bentley, expresses concerns that with Trump in the White House, the nation might see “a different model of eating that might be something of a throwback to the post-World War II era of being enamoured with the qualities of fast food.”

According to Bentley, the post-World War II dietary era was marked by “quantity over quality.”

Grammy Award-nominated icon, Sunday Adeniyi Adegeye, popularly known as King Sunny Ade, is now officially the first Nigerian musician to donate pieces from his personal reserve to Hard Rock’s world-famous memorabilia collection.

On Wednesday, November 30, 2016, the Juju maestro donated a vintage Fender Guitar and other personal items including an album cover and a pair of shoes at Hard Rock Cafe Lagos.


    “I’m thrilled to be the first Nigerian musician to donate personal items to Hard Rock’s world-famous collection and to be showcased alongside other legendary artists,” said King Sunny Ade. “For me, this is more than just a ceremony; it’s anopportunity to pass on a cultural legacy and inspire new generations of musicians around the globe.”

King Sunny Ade’s donated personal items will join more than 81,000 pieces of music memorabilia that Hard Rock has acquired over its 45-year history. Other iconic pieces include Madonna’s wedding dress from “Like a Virgin,” John Lennon’s wireframe tinted glasses, Jim Morrison’s famous brown leather pants, and many more.

“It’s a great honor to be able to pay homage to the rich and historic musical roots in Lagos with a memorabilia donation from King Sunny Ade,” said Sanjay Mathani, CEO of Hard Rock Cafe Lagos. “Hard Rock embraces all genres of music,and we are proud to support such a talented and influential artist.”

The first-of-its-kind donation was brokered by leading talent agency and event management company, Temple Management Company, who are also putting together the highly-publicized grand concert for King Sunny Ade tagged “Sunny On Sunday” scheduled for Sunday, December 11, 2016 at Federal palace Hotel in Lagos.

“Celebrating King Sunny Ade is something of a national assignment for us at Temple Management Company that must be carried out,” said Terfa Tilley-Gyado, Director of Communications, Temple Management. “An induction into the Hard Rock’s famous memorabilia collection is just one of such responsibilities that will culminate at a grand concert that Nigerians have never witnessed come December 11,” he added.
